   Although I haven't used it for ham radio yet, I know it's beyond valuable for what I plan on doing. Because of my living situation it will be easy to setup and break down with my diamond x30 antenna. I received a product that damaged during shipping. I spoke with Christine and she was a big help to work everything out. Very happy over all

3. Heavy duty tripod

   This is a heavy duty tripod for mounting portable antennas. It is a great value for this tripod and I highly recommend it.

4. Still great after 4 years of use

   I bought this in 2006 for use with a indoor magloop. Thanks to FT8, JT65 and this speaker stand, I've worked all states QRP 5W and am halfway to DXCC also 5W with the indoor antenna.
   I'm buying a couple more for portable use.

5. Finally something quick to use for emergency antennas in the field

   For years I have been heavily involved with ARES and other support emergency organizations. At times a vertical antenna while easy to set up was not the optimum for field work... An inverted V worked better but required a bit of time to set up and was not truly portable for my needs. Then I found these tripods at MTC...Three of them did the trick....I attach the center one to a collapsible fiberglass flag pole and the two end tripods support the ends of the inverted V...a bit of tie down and I have a fairly secure antenna for average weather conditions...A good investment!

9. Excellent antenna mounting

   The 'speaker' tripod is heavy duty. I'm very pleased with Richard's suggestion to utilize this as an antenna mount. The quality of this is very good. Much heavier than I expected, and it works great for my 31' vertical. I may just have to get another!

10. highest quality, best value

    While these tripods were advertised as speaker tripods being sold for antenna mounts, I bought two for their original purpose, speaker stands, AND to use as portable antenna stands so I personally am getting dual use at a bargain price from my favorite electronics store, MAIN TRADING COMPANY, PARIS, TEXAS
