The Astatic VS4 is a compact external speaker . The 3" by 3" VS4 is compact enough to fit almost anywhere in your vehicle. This External speaker comes with a mounting bracket and 9' cord with a 3.5mm plug that fits into the jack on the back of your two way radio. The Astatic VS4 works 4-8 ohms and handles 5 watts of power.

My Icom HF unit speaker tends to the sharper frequencies and makes the background sounds too annoying. The Astatic speaker is an amzing product for it's price. It has a clear reception and eliminates the annoying backgound sounds. I would have paid three times as much for speaker if I had known it's quality.
