The Comet CHA-250HD is a newly design broadband vertical with NO GROUND RADIALS. This antenna is EXTREMELY easy to assemble, requires no tuning or adjustments and VSWR is under 1.6:1 from 3.5MHz - 57MHz!

    It's not a DX antenna, but it's a good antenna.
    It compliments my fan dipole and is good out to 400 miles or so.
    They say you don't need to tune it, but i'm considering bringing it down and tweaking it. Just to see.

    Where can I begin, took me 12 mins to setup, instructions were easy to read once i flipped it over to English...can't read Chinese.
    Mounted it to a mast 5 ft long....once I connected the coax I heard station I did not hear before.
    Tuned more than a dozen frequencies and not one of them was over 1:1.3.
    The antenna while it is a compromised antenna and of course bigger is better this is a PERFECT antenna for my situation.
    Im glad I purchased it thru MTC.
