If you are an avid cw operator the 270 hz filter is a great addition to the TS-890S. It has been my experience that it greatly improves the overall s/n ratio.

Love the option of this 270 hZ filter. Easily installed and really helps in the presence of other signals. If you favor CW, this is a no-brainer.

Gives the TS-890 a nice selectivity boost on CW. And super easy to install. Good addition to the rig.
