MTC DX1 High Gain DX Antenna For Wouxun, Puxing Baofeng , MTC UV-3R, UV-X4, UV-E5and more w SMA Female!

 

This is the MTC DX-1. It is a High Gain DX antenna that fits most models of the Wouxun Handhelds and many other import radios. It will not fit earlier KG-UV6D Radios. It will Not fit Wouxun KG-UV8D.  It has the SMA Female Connector so you will not have to use any adapter.

It is guaranteed to be free from factory defects for 1 year!

 

It has a 2.15 DB Gain on UHF and almost twice the gain of a stock antenna on most radios

It's Frequency range is the entire 144 and 440 MHZ amateur bands but in tests it still out performs the stock antennas far above and below the amateur band.

It measures almost 15.5 inches! and has been tested up to  10 watts!

    Nice antenna to work with the Baofeng radio. The only thing I did not like is the antenna does not go full seated like the factory or the Diamond after market antenna does. But it does improve the range.

    I found that this antenna markedly increased the radiated signal of my handy talkie. I have been able to hit repeaters from my shack at home that have always been unavailable until I bought this MTC DX1 antenna. It worked so well that I bought a second one for my wife (N4WES)

    Tested using same setup (radio/pwr level/ position/same repeaters) with original antenna and this antenna. This one better on VHF, worse on UHF under same set up conditions. Since main use is on VHF, will give overall improvement to signal.
