1. Easy to use

   This is my 3rd RT purchase. It saves me a lot of time by being able to copy files from one brand of radio and using them from another brand. The cable use couldn't be simpler...just plug and go...no need to "experiment" with drivers.

   Great audio on TX and RX BUT same intermod issues I have with my KG-UV3 :(
   So not happy about that.
   Guess you shouldn't expect a lot from any radio in this price rang, I can live with it.

6. Good but could be better

   I wish this system was Apple compliant. They do not allow for my F6 a call function to be saved or transferred, which would be nice if it did. This system is easy to use and set up it would've received five stars for me if it was Apple compliant

7. FTM-400 DR Programming Software

   I was very pleased to open the software package and find helpful instructions along with a 4 GB micro SD card, an SD card adapter and a USB/SD card interface.
   
   The software walks you through what needs to happen and what steps are needed to begin programming the radio.
   
   It is very user friendly, allows for copying frequencies (for example from band B to band A listings), allows for moving a row up or down in the list so you can place them in any order you wish.
   
   Alpha tags are part of the options, too.
   
   The additional config settings has its own screen to setup the variables.
   
   Very well done.
