This Acom 2100 HF linear amplifier is in great used condition. It has a few light marks but overall this amp is very clean. There are no issues to note with any of the connectors, buttons, or knobs. This amplifier is wired for 120V use. It powers on and works great. On 120 volts it make about 1KW on every band. You could switch it over to 220 and it would do a lot more. The ACOM 2100 is a complete and self-contained linear amplifier that covers all Amateur bands from 1.8 through 54 MHz and provides over 1500W PEP or continuous carrier output power, typically at only 40 to 55 watts drive. The 2100 utilizes a single 4CX1000A ceramic and metal radial-beam tetrode vacuum tube with plate dissipation of 1,000 watts. This manually tuned amp features many automatic functions. Tube protection includes permanent monitoring and automatic protection of plate and grid voltages and currents, as well as the exhaust air temperature, essential data that indicates the power tube operating conditions.

The 2100 amplifier features virtually silent high-speed break-in CW (QSK). The input bypassing and vacuum antenna relays are virtually silent even in the CW QSK mode; thanks to specially designed mounting hardware.

The 2100 is designed to safely withstand up to 400 watts of reflected power and up to 100 milliseconds duration of drive spikes. Additionally, these amplifiers continue to function with "soft" AC mains and will deliver more than half power at only 85 percent of nominal mains voltage. They can withstand voltage drops for up to 10 milliseconds and can tolerate 15 percent mains voltage spikes; especially important on Field Day, during DXpeditions, and at portable operating events where emergency power is relied upon. The True Resistance Indicator (TRI) is a powerful tuning aid that helps the operator to quickly and precisely match the antenna impedance to the optimum tube load impedance. The auto-operate function (when enabled) maintains the amplifier in the OPERATE mode, thus avoiding unnecessary manual operations. Broadband input matching presents a very good load to the transceiver over the entire spectrum of 1.8-54 MHz. Your 2100 will enable you to change between three antennas virtually instantaneously and allow you to use your antennas over wider frequency ranges.

All ACOM 2100 amplifier status indications are explained via detailed text displayed on the high brightness OLED display. LED indicators are also provided for Power, Operate Mode, Attenuation-on, Transmit and Selected Antenna output.
