U14452 AS IS RCA Six Band Strato-World Short Wave Receiver

This receiver is in ok condition.  The top of the unit, around the handle is a little worn from use and a little dingy, but it is nothing major.  The top of the back has some white smudgy spots.   The rest of the unit is mostly clean with only a few small scratches.  All of the buttons and dials function smooth.  The screen is also very clean.   The antenna is straight and raises and lowers good.  There is a piece of tape that is helping to hold on the battery door.   It works on D batteries and does not come with a power cord.  This unit does not include any accessories.    I also did see that someone had done some engraving on the chrome part of the bottom of the unit.  This is not easy to see unless you look close.  It appears to have an address and a telephone number engraved there.

When powered up it does receive but doesnt seem it receives as good as it should. All controls are scratchy and need to be cleaned
