U16179 Used SPE Expert 1.5K-FA Series 2 Solid State Automatic Amplifier

This amplifier is in great condition. The exterior has almost no cosmetic defects other than a few minor scratches and looks great. The connections on the rear panel  power supply are clean. All printed text on the amp exterior is clear and completely intact. Included with the amplifier is the original carrying case, software disc, and manuals.  It works fine with no issues at all.

This Amp was traded in on a new Taurus. It came in with no output. We knew it had a problem when we traded for it.

As suspected the LDMOS was blown. We actually suspect it was due to heat because the filter was stopped up and had disintegrated. There were no codes stored about being overdriven or any of that.

We replaced the LDMOS

Amp was cleaned out. The dust and filter particles were removed

Factory Essential Mods were all done

The amp was updated as far as possible for a series two

The front panel buttons were also not responding as they should. We replaced the front panel with a brand new one

All Alignments were done and the amp is ready to go

There is no evidence of tobacco, smoke or pets

This is a series 2 amplifier. The tuner will handle a 3:1 SWR
