U16740 AS IS Drake T-4XC Amateur HF Transmitter

This unit is part of a silent key estate. It has not been powered up in years. We thought it best to not even try. This unit is in excellent cosmetic shape. The exterior has no major noticeable cosmetic defects to note. The back panel appears dirty, but it can be cleaned easily.  The knobs spin smoothly, all connections are sturdy, all text is legible, and all meter are clear to read. This unit comes with no accessories. Does not come in the original box.

The T-4XC transmitter is a 200 watt transmitter providing SSB, CW, and controlled carrier AM modes of operation. It can also be easily adapted for RTTY operation. The T-4XC can be used on most frequencies between 1.8 and 30 MHz. Crystals are supplied for full coverage of the 80, 40, 20, and 15 meter amateur bands and 28.5 - 29 MHz of the 10 meter band. Sockets are provided for accessory crystals to cover other 500 kHz wide segments.
