    My 50 foot rg8x cord has served me for two years now.
    The 12 foot cable is working great also. Workmanship is always very nice in everything that MTC sells.

    Upon receipt of this cable assembly I immediately put it into service on my HF rig. I was unable to tune on any band so I started over. Close inspection showed a light coating of resin or some other material that was insulating the center conductor of the PL-259 from the SO-238 on the radio. I had inspected the PL-259's to see if they were soldered which they were. Sanded the material off and worked fine.
