    This mic makes all the difference when operating the Yaesu FT-857D. Why it doesn't come standard I'll never know. Make sure you go into your radios menu settings and set it to use the mic.
    I needed one ASAP. Looked online and saw that MTC Radio had the best price. Ordered it and had it in my hand in 2 days. Awesome! I couldn't be happier.
