All Factory new products are covered by their manufacturers warranty. Please refer to the specific manufacturers warranty statement. If you receive a brand new product that is defective you can contact the manufacturer directly or let us know within ten days. We can exchange many new products within ten days of purchase. We can even cover the freight on the exchange

MTC Radio Used Gear Warranty Statement

All of our used gear comes with a 90 day warranty unless otherwise noted. Some items are marked AS IS. These items are for parts or repair and do not come with any type of warranty.

We stand behind the quality of the used ham radio gear we sell. Unless the item is noted AS IS, All equipment is covered by our Limited Warranty as follows:

• Coverage This warranty covers manufacturing defects and functional failures that occur under normal use and service. If your equipment fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship, we will repair, refund or replace it at our discretion.
• Warranty Period The warranty is valid for 90 days from the date of purchase
• Exclusions This warranty does not cover:
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, lightning, power surge or unauthorized modifications
  • Operation outside of original factory specifications such as running full power FT8 or other digital mode on a radio, amp or other item that was not designed for this type of use. This would clearly be neglect or abuse. Failure due to transmitting into a bad antenna or no antenna would not be covered, Failure due to hooking power wires up backwards or other accidental mistake on the customer's part would not be covered.
  • Normal wear and tear (including cosmetic issues such as scratches or dents)
  • Issues arising from improper installation, operation outside manufacturer specifications, or use with incompatible accessories
• How to Obtain Service To make a warranty claim, please contact us with proof of purchase and a description of the issue. We may require the item to be returned for inspection before repair or replacement is authorized.
• Limitations Liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the equipment. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of the product. We will only cover items for the original purchaser. Warranty is not transferable.
• Shipping Charges-Customer will pay shipping BOTH ways. We do not cover any shipping charges to or from us or any pre-authorized repair shop
• Item not as described or DOA- If you receive a product that is not as described, damaged or DOA we will be glad to take it back, pay all shipping and get you refunded promptly. Just contact us within 72 hours of receiving the item for a return authorization
• Other Information- We do not have a try before you buy period. If you buy a used product and just do not like like it we will take it back. In this case you will be charged a restocking fee and pay all shipping to and from our place. If their is any evidence of tampering, parts swapping, misuse, abuse or similar we can not refund or help in any way. All sales are final unless there is an issue that arises that would need warranty service or if you receive a product that is not as described. All warranty claims and decisions are ours to make. We are very fair and strive to offer the best value and service in used equipment in the country. Please know all used products are ours. They are not consignments. If there were to be any issue at all, you will deal directly with us and our impeccable reputation. We strive every day to provide the best possible products and offer the very best Mom and Pop service out there.
• Other Marketplaces- You may see our items for sale at much higher prices on other market places. Other marketplaces have their own rules, fees, warranty and procedures. If you buy from us on some other site our warranty, terms and conditions may not apply. It is always best to buy from us direct on this site or in person.

Limitation of Liability

MTC Radio’s liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the item. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of the equipment.
