Welcome to MTC Radio auctions! Here’s what to know before you place your first bid.
How does bidding work?
Getting started is quick and easy. Before placing your first bid, you’ll complete checkout for a one-time $1.50 registration fee to verify your payment card and authorize your account. Once registered, you can bid on available auctions without paying the registration fee again.
If you win an auction, your saved card will automatically be charged for your winning bid amount plus any applicable taxes and shipping when the auction ends.
Why is there a $1.50 registration charge?
The one-time $1.50 registration fee verifies your payment card before you start bidding. This helps keep our auctions fair by requiring bidders to register with a valid payment method. This also helps to prevent spam, bots and non paying bidders
Will I get the $1.50 registration fee back?
Yes! MTC Radio will refund your $1.50 registration fee after the auction you participated in ends, whether or not you win. We aim to issue your refund within 3 business days after the auction ends. Once issued, please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your account, depending on your bank or card provider.
Your registration remains active after the refund, so you won’t need to pay the fee again to participate in future auctions.
How does shipping work?
Our regular shipping policy applies to auction purchases, too. Most orders over $100 ship free to the lower 48 states. For most orders under $100, we charge a flat $11 shipping fee.
Some large items may incur additional shipping charges. Other items may be available for local pickup only.

Will I be charged sales tax?
We currently charge sales tax in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
Can I buy an auction item at a “Buy It Now” price?
Once an item goes to auction, we do not offer a “Buy It Now” price. We reserve the right to end an auction early and sell the item to the highest bidder at that time.
What is anti-snipe protection?
Anti-snipe protection gives bidders extra time to respond to last-minute bids. When a bid is placed in the final minutes of an auction, our anti-snipe software extends the auction’s end time by a minute or two.
Can I cancel my bid?
You can withdraw your bid through the customer account portal while an auction is live, up to 10 minutes before it ends. Withdrawing your bid releases the payment hold on your card and removes you from the auction.
What warranty comes with my auction purchase?
Our regular warranty policies apply to auction purchases. New gear comes with a manufacturer’s warranty. Most used gear includes a 90-day warranty unless otherwise specified.
When will I be charged, and when will my order ship?
When the auction ends, your card will be charged for the winning bid amount plus applicable taxes and shipping. We usually ship the same or next business day.
