Kenwood's TM-D750A (TM-D750AK) mobile transceiver, with advanced D-STAR and APRS capabilities, takes your operating experience to the next level.
The transceiver utilizes the built-in wireless LAN for direct connection to the D-STAR network without the need for external devices, and the high-performance built-in GPS module/antenna to receive signals from satellite constellations.
The operation panel with 3.45-inch TFT Color LCD is separate from the main unit and features a USB-C connector, a microSD card slot, and a built-in speaker to deliver superb audio quality.
Main Features:
- 2.4/5 GHz Wireless LAN (WLAN).
- Direct Mode allows easy and direct access to D-STAR repeaters and reflectors over the Internet using the built-in WLAN without requiring nearby repeaters or external devices.
- D-STAR Repeater Monitor allows audibly checking ongoing communications on remote D-STAR repeaters over the Internet using the built-in WLAN.
- Reflector Terminal Mode/Standard Terminal Mode allows the transceiver to connect to D-STAR reflectors or repeaters via a Bluetooth® or USB connection to a third-party gateway app.
- Simultaneous AM air band reception on A & B bands.
- Simultaneous recording of received audio on A & B bands.

- Visual Scan with Waterfall: Display of visual scan history in a vividly colorful waterfall format.
- microSD/SDHC Card Slot: Used for storing and retrieving programming data, recording received audio, updating firmware, updating repeater list etc.

Oh my gosh! What a radio, well worth the wait and is a finished product. Every function I have used and tried has worked without a hitch. I loved the Kenwood TH-D75 HT and used it mobile in my car. I really wanted a display I could read and more power. I got that in the TM-D750. The Direct Mode for DStar works great with my wifi as well without the need for a hotspot. APRS is the best integration in a radio that I have seen. It cost more than any other VHF/UHF radio I have purchased, but the features and technology has come a long way.

I really love this radio. The control head is a nice size, and easy to use. No touch screen controls, everything is a physical button. If you have a D75 or D74, you will feel instantly at home with this radio. The controls are intuitive if you’re used to Kenwood. Audio quality is very good.

I can’t thank MTC enough. Recently purchased the Kenwood TM D750 after Kenwood kept the world waiting for over 2 years. MTC never did any pre orders like the other stores, they got them in stock and I called them after they were showing sold out, the woman I spoke with went out of her way and called me back with one in her hand that she could sell me. It was shipped out and in my hands in 2 days Texas to NH. Prior to this I’ve done business with them for a lot of little things but now they will be getting a lot more business from me, including a 2nd 750 in the near future.

The D750 would get 5 stars if they had put the mic connection on the head unit. IMO that is what will be closest to the operator. I love the audio clarity, display, DV/DR features, APRS and I haven’t been able to get to the other features to experiment with them yet! Fun fun so far! I am not a fan of the MCP but probably because I am spoiled by and know the RT Systems program better. Good job Kenwood!
