LDG - Y-ACC-1 Interface Cable

Y-ACC-1 is a 36 inch interface cable between the select Yaesu radios and LDG Generic tuners. Does not supply DC to tuner. Connects between the ALC/REM or ACC stereo jack on the radio and the Radio Interface on the LDG tuner.

Supported Radios:

FT-857(D), FT-897(D), FT-100, FT-100(D), FT-991(A) and FT-891.

Functionality:

Connect red end to radio, black end to tuner.

Pressing the tune button on the tuner changes the mode of the radio to CW (mode change does not appear on some radio display), tunes, then returns the radio to the previous mode. This cable does not fold back power (reduce RF).

For FT-991(A), set menu item 143 (Tuner Select) to LAMP (for Linear Amp). For FT-891 set menu item 16-15 (Tuner Select) to LAMP. For both use the ALC/REM jack (red end of the Y-ACC-1 cable goes to the radio).
