Overall Condition: Used, sold AS-IS. Cosmetically, the front panel, knobs, display glass, and casing are fine and in good physical order. However, the unit has significant functional issues and has been in storage for over 10 years (both the transceiver and factory box exhibit a noticeable storage/musty odor). The transceiver exhibits several classic TS-940S PLL/un-lock and control board faults. We are unable to identify if there are any further issues. Includes original Kenwood factory shipping box and AC power cord. Some of the buttons do no work (band buttons). It does not receiver or transmit. This one does have the auto tuner installed

Functional Defect Summary (Sold AS-IS)

• Microphone & Control Response Issue: Front panel band function buttons do not respond when a microphone is plugged in.

• No Transmission: The transceiver will not transmit.

• Display / VFO Disconnect Issue: The frequency readout does not stay displayed. Upon turning the main VFO dial, the frequency digits disappear from the display after selection.

• Storage History & Odor: Unit and factory packaging have been in long-term storage (10+ years) and carry a storage odor.
