The Icom CT-17 is the official CI-V (Communication Interface-V) level converter designed to connect up to four Icom transceivers or receivers simultaneously to a computer for computerized CAT control, frequency logging, memory management, and digital mode operation.

It converts RS-232C serial signals from a PC into CI-V TTL voltage levels used by Icom equipment. Built in a compact metal enclosure with rubber feet, the CT-17 features four parallel 3.5mm CI-V remote output jacks, allowing a single PC port to command multiple radios across a station network.
