The remainder of the cabinet, top cover, and front bezel present cleanly. Front Grille & Badge: The large circular black metal mesh speaker grille is straight, dent-free, and accented by crisp gold YAESU badging. Rear & Hardware: Rear 3.5mm mono audio input jack is firm and corrosion-free, the ventilation slots are clean, and the heavy rubber feet are intact.

The Yaesu SP-101 is a high-grade external desktop communications speaker designed to acoustically and cosmetically match the Yaesu FT-710, FTDX101D, and FTDX101MP series transceivers.

Featuring a large, high-efficiency speaker driver housed within a substantial steel enclosure, the SP-101 is tuned to reproduce human voice communications with superior presence, clarity, and depth. By attenuating harsh high-frequency noise and muddy low-end rumble, it significantly improves weak-signal copy on SSB and CW while easing listening fatigue during extended operating sessions.
