Overall Condition: Used, great physical and operational condition overall showing normal desk use! Cosmetic & Hardware Details: The rounded weighted base and yoke mount present cleanly with standard desk handling. One of the side mounting screws/thumbscrews that secures the microphone capsule yoke to the riser ring is missing (the right-side brass post remains present). The black mesh microphone screen shows a very small spot where the black finish has rubbed down. Switches & Adjustments: Front base console features large PTT paddle, mechanical LOCK key, and UP / DOWN frequency buttons—all firm, responsive, and clicking positively. The capsule features Yaesu’s signature underside VSPC (Variable Speech Parametric Control) rotary acoustic adjustment dial. Cables & Connections: Includes the capsule-to-base jumper cable with threaded collar and the factory coiled transceiver cable with clean 8-pin round and modular 8-pin RJ-45 terminations.

It incorporates Yaesu’s patented VSPC system, allowing operators to manually alter the acoustic cavity volume inside the microphone body via an underside rotary ring to dial in custom tailoring without electronic distortion.
