The RM Italy BLA350 Plus is a fully automatic, solid-state wideband linear amplifier designed for HF amateur radio operations from 1.8 through 30 MHz (160M–10M). Powered by a pair of rugged MACOM MA486 / MRF150 RF power MOSFETs in push-pull configuration, it delivers a clean, low-distortion 300 Watts PEP continuous output with just 1 to 12 Watts of input drive power. Built with an internal 110V AC linear power supply, the BLA350 Plus eliminates the need for bulky external high-current 13.8V DC power sources. It features automatic band switching via an integrated frequency counter, fast PIN diode T/R switching for seamless CW full break-in (QSK) and SSB operation, and multiple onboard protection circuits monitoring over-temperature, high SWR, over-voltage, and excessive drive power.
