U20497 AS-IS Untested Yaesu VX-1R Dual Band FM Handheld Transceiver

U20497 AS-IS Yaesu VX-1R Dual Band FM Handheld Transceiver

This pre-owned Yaesu VX-1R is being offered AS-IS for parts or repair, as its operational functionality is unknown. The radio presents in good cosmetic condition with a solid chassis and intact screen, showing cosmetic wear on the front buttons (text has been rubbed off on in areas) from prior use. None of the included battery packs are charged, and a wall charger/power supply is not included.

The Yaesu VX-1R is an ultra-compact, pocket-sized dual-band FM handheld transceiver engineered to provide coverage on both the 2-meter (144 MHz) and 70-centimeter (430 MHz) amateur bands. Famously designed with an ultra-miniature footprint, it delivers up to 1 Watt of RF output (with external DC) or 500 mW via internal battery power. Alongside dual-band amateur transmission, the VX-1R features wideband AM/FM receive capabilities covering broadcast radio, shortwave, VHF aircraft, and UHF public safety allocations, packaged in a lightweight, durable housing.
