The microphone head, flexible gooseneck shaft, weighted base station, and PTT switches remain clean, sharp, and well-preserved. The attached straight cable is fitted with a clean 8-pin round metal connector, and the unit comes complete in its original Icom factory box.

The Icom SM-30 is a compact, high-grade unidirectional electret condenser desktop microphone designed specifically for SSB, AM, and FM operation across Icom base station transceivers. Engineered with a slim gooseneck for easy angle adjustments, it delivers crisp, punchy voice audio tailored to maximize communication clarity and cut through noise. The solid, compact desktop base features a large, comfortable push-to-talk (PTT) bar, an independent PTT lock switch for extended transmissions, an adjustable mic gain trimpot, and a bottom-mounted low-cut filter switch to eliminate ambient room rumble and bass heavy distortion. Fitted with a standard 8-pin round plug, it connects directly to popular Icom transceivers such as the IC-718, IC-7300, IC-7610, and IC-9700.
