The RM Italy LA 145 is a compact, high-output VHF linear amplifier designed for mobile or base station operation across 135 to 175 MHz, covering the entire 2-meter amateur radio band as well as commercial VHF frequencies. Operating from a standard 12–14V DC power source, it accepts an RF drive level of 0.5 to 4 Watts (ideal for handheld transceivers or low-power mobile rigs) to deliver up to 80 Watts of RF output power. It features selectable SSB and FM operating modes with automatic RF-sensed transmit/receive switching (VOX) and an integrated delay circuit for SSB voice modulation.
