U20537 Used Palstar SP30H Ultimate Communications Speaker with Handmade Birch Cabinet

This pre-owned Palstar SP30H extended-range communications speaker is in near-mint condition, exhibiting only a few very minor handling nicks on its finely finished handmade wooden enclosure. The rich cherry-stained birch cabinet retains a deep luster with crisp corner joints and a clean, intact top and side profile. The black front baffle face, molded acoustic grille, bass reflex port slots, and Palstar badge are in pristine shape. On the rear panel, the spring-loaded wire terminals, RCA input jacks, and factory labeling are immaculate. It includes an audio connection patch cable.

The Palstar SP30H is an audiophile-grade external communications speaker custom-engineered to dramatically improve receive audio fidelity and clarity across amateur radio transceivers, shortwave receivers, and communications gear. Handcrafted in the USA, it is constructed from solid birch wood with an acoustic suspension bass-reflex enclosure that eliminates the hollow, tinny resonances typical of plastic and stamped metal radio speakers. Equipped with a heavy-magnet, 5-inch extended-range speaker driver, the SP30H delivers 20 Watts of clean audio with a tailored frequency response spanning 50 Hz to 8 kHz. This custom frequency curve enhances human voice articulation on SSB and AM while smoothing out high-pitched background hiss and fatigue-inducing static, making it a centerpiece audio upgrade for any ham shack.
