The SteppIR SDA 2000 is an intelligent microprocessor antenna command console designed to precisely drive and position SteppIR's dynamic variable-length element Yagi and vertical antenna systems. Featuring the upgraded OptimizIR computing firmware architecture, it calculates and displays real-time forward gain, front-to-back ratios, beamwidth patterns, and exact element extensions across amateur bands from 40M through 6M. It easily interfaces with transceivers via rear-panel serial CAT control for automatic element tracking as you tune across the band, and includes one-touch 180° direction reversal, bi-directional mode, and automated element retraction to protect the internal copper-beryllium tape elements during severe weather.
